There are two parts to the radio rom
(I don’t know the order of it)
1) Palm’s radio rom (##RADIO) for example “187 ” (part that interfaces your blazer connection, ##DIAG etc), setup via ##DATA
2) Palm’s modem rom (the result from ATI3?) (used when tethering/GPS etc), setup via ATQCNAI etc commands at vistabug.org forums
While the Verizon MR has fixed the “Service not avail in your area” via the #1 update, the #2 part has not been touched and remains at 2004
While the 700wx #2 part was updated to 2007.
